P0321 Spark Reference Circuit. The spark reference signal is used by the PCM to improve ignition timing accuracy during crank and at engine speeds of up to 1,200 RPM. The spark reference circuit allows the use of ignition control mode below 400 RPM, eliminating the need to utilize module mode during start-up, and also allows the PCM to calculate true crankshaft position in 1/6 the time that use of the fuel control reference signal would permit.
During normal operation, the PCM uses the spark reference signal to control ignition timing until the engine speed exceeds 1200 RPM, at which time the fuel control reference signal is used. There is no connection to the TCS.
If everything checks ok then the PCM is defective PCM.

Reverse procedure to install and prior to installing new sensor, lubricate sensor O-ring.
It is located under the water pump. Make sure when you remove the sensor that you rotate the crank shaft and look in the hole to make sure the pick up magnet is still in there. Sometimes they come loose and cause a no start or long crank. You will need to have the code cleared still.

The pcv valve is located in the rocker cover on the left side of the engine, it is just a small black plastic thing with a hose stuck to it. Pull it out and pull off the hose, hook it back up, you might need a new grommet, but it should be no problem, all auto parts stores have that stuff in stock. If you don't see it on the left, check the right. I don't think I have ever seen one anyplace else. Hope this helps.
