You should be able to operate window from main front switch regardless if rear switch is bad. If it does not work from rear door or front door, it is probably not the switch, but the window motor which do go quite often. Take switch and verify it is working by testing with volt meter, next, check to see if you have 12VDC at switch, could be a broken wire, another common problem with older cars.

what are the symptoms ,as if the window works but has problems up/down noisy etc there is only one cure change the window operating mechanism as are not made to be repaired (what is these days) keep me posted

The fuse is for both rear windows so if one is working then it's not the fuse
possibly the rear windows regulator motor has failed.

1. Remove the rear door speaker. For additional information, refer to Section 415-03.

1. Remove the side impact bolster.

1. Position the door latch release handle aside.

1. CAUTION: Do not touch the adhesive surface, as re-bonding will be impaired.
   Remove the watershield.

1. Connect the window operating switch electrical connector.

1. Align the regulator clamp with the access hole.

1. Remove the window glass from the regulator clamp.
   1. Push out the pin.
   1. Push out the sleeve.
   1. Remove the window glass from the regulator clamp.

1. CAUTION: Make sure the window glass is adequately supported at the top of the opening.
   Using suitable hooks, raise and secure the window glass.

1. Disconnect the window operating switch electrical connector.

1. Disconnect the motor electrical connector.

1. Remove the bolts and the motor and window regulator.

1. To install reverse the removal procedure.

If you squeese the handle put your head near the badge you should hear one micro switch operating the window and a noise like well hard to explain but its a solenoid operating the rear latch after the window drops, you can get the inside panel off bit hard with door locked; at bottom of door panel is four philips screws take them out and then the panel pulls from the bottom up,cut round water shredder and you can operate latch manually to get it open then check to see if micro switch in handle is working its not a rear wiper fault or window fault as they work, the relay for the rear door latch and the rear window are behind the offside rear quarter panel 3 connectors for rear door electrics, the relays are up by the seat at top,its not normally a relay issue either rear door latch solenoid or micro switch in back handle but rule out the handle as window works.

Disconect battery and wait 5 min and try again it worked on mine.

there should be a plastic guide clip either in the glass itself or built into the window runner really you need to have the door pannel stripped down to see the problem as for the rear window its one of two things either the switch or the motor itself .to test it try operating the rear window from the front switch and also the rear one if the window works then you need to replace which ever switch didnt operate the window

U will need to buy and replace the window regulator, it is a dealer only part.

check to make sure the rear windsheild wiper is in the Park position, meaning all the way up,ifit is not there is alock out to stop you from raising the rear window, get back to me if you need more help as i strive to be the best, please rate my fix

first check or replace the relays in the fuse panel under the dash for those two circuits and see if that fixes it
