Since the one side works, it is not electrical. It only uses one wiper motor. Most likely it is something in the wiper linkage, (wiper transmission). It can be something as simple as a worn out bushing or it may need a whole new linkage.

Check that power is going to the wiper motor with a multi-meter or external bulb linked to a good earth (battery -).

If it is, put the tester/bulb onto motor's earth connection - if that is live then, a good earth is not happening.
Hope this helps.

Audi a3 sits lower on the drivers side and ive checked the springs and they look fine and everything else also looks okay, nothing broken etc.

has the car been it an accident in its history?
it could be that there is 1 coil broken of de spring. or that there is a problem with the balljoints. put the car on a flat surface and start messuring up everything left side and right side to find out where your hight differences come from.

Rear wiper has stopped working in audi a3 - where and how do i change the fuse? the washers have also stopped at the same time. would this be the same fuse?

Yes, is the same fuse nr.41 (15A) !
For Audi A3 the fuse box is located on the left side of dashboard behind a plastic cover (for left hand steering wheel vehicle). On inner face of the plastic cover you will find the fuse diagram.
The fuse nr.41, (the second fuse from right to left direction, on the second row from bottom to upper direction, on the fuse box), F41 (15A) = Rear screen wash & wipe system !!!
Replace blowed fuse with new one and problem will be solved quickly !
Please rate my response. Thanks!

When i press the emergency light button - only the light on right side start blinking. The light bulbs are okay as my indicators are working fine. Is there a fuse that has gone bad or some other issue?...

check the fusebox first to make sure a fuse hasnt blown, then try the relay for the indicators/hazard lights.if you havent got a circuit tester, this will be trial/error.

Central locking has stopped working on my 1996 audi A4

The 1996 A4 uses a central locking system which is vacuum operated. Each door has a vacuum servo which raises and lowers by air pressure created by the vacuum pump. The pump is located in the trunk right behind the passenger side tail light.

Either the pump is faulty or the vacuum lines leading to it are damaged.

This problem may be best left to the Audi dealer to troubleshoot as this is very model specific and not many small shops will have experienced this problem.
