I just had a similar problem with my factory DVD player when I changed the car battery - I haven't tried to use the CD player yet. I checked the fuses under the dash and then under the hood. I used the fuse map in the owner's manual to figure out which fuses to check. I didn't find any bad fuses, but I tried the DVD player after I pulled the fuses and put them back in place and it worked. Don't know if this will solve your problem, but it's worth a try. I suggest checking the fuses in the fuse box under the hood first since they're easier to access than the fuse box under the dash.
Hi I'm litoshop on your vehicle to change a battery your suppose to have a power supply connected to your outlets but encase this happens you have on your vehicle manual you have step by step instruction in how to reset your radio and cd player if you don't have one then check through the internet for one. if this information has been helpful please let us know good luck
That wouldn't be the result of changing your battery. Deck may need to be cleaned with a cd laser lens cleaner.
