There are a few reasons why a wheel will make noise when it's rotating. The most serious would be a bad wheel bearing. I would have the front wheel bearings checked, and if the driver's side needs replacement, I recommend that you have the passenger side replaced as well.
Other less serious causes for a noise at the wheel can be a small stone stuck inside a hub cap or a stone lodged in the tire tread.

Sounds like a slack or worn bearing....when car is at a standstill, hold the wheel that the noise is coming from at the top, and push and pull, if it moves or makes a clunk noise, then the bearing is worn...

Hi, it can be a number of two things....
1, the wheel nut are loose and need tightening.
2, the wheel bearing needs tightening or needs replacing.

when noises are on left and right turns
that has CV joints /drive shafts
would say they are the issue
replace both sides

and replace the left hand hub bearing at the same time

Clicking noise from drivers side only when driving
Hi there, this could be your cv joint on that side, a good test is to put steering on full lock and go in reverse, if the noise is there then I would say it's you cv joint, cheers

I have a grinding noise coming from, what sounds like to me, the front passenger side tire. you will hear it as you as you gain speed, and the sound basically gets louder and faster, the faster you go....
Change both front Wheel Hub Bearings

You know the left is bad, so why tells us
change it

The brake wear is from not doing brake work
often enough,no rust removal,no lubing of of
any moving parts

The right side was basically rusted & frozen in place
& not releasing,the repair shops don't do much in that
area,need to do your own work

Take brakes apart once or twice a year

Whining noise progressively gets louder with speed
One wheel turning faster than the other is normal if both wheels are off the ground. If one wheel is dragging when the other wheel is on the ground, it could be brakes or a wheel hub bearing.
Usually if the noise happens on right turns, the left hub bearing is failing, and vice versa.

When front end is jacked up should both wheels turn at the same speed
Yes that is normal for a front wheel drive vehicle. The power is applied to the wheel on the passenger side only until a given amount of wheel speed is obtained then the drivers side will spin at the same rate. Although if you raise the front of the vehicle and spin the tires by hand in neutral you should feel equal resistance. If the driver side wheel has excessive resistance to turning the wheel bearing may be to tight..

Ticking noise driver side wheel, the faster you go the faster the tick
ticking alone is usually the sign of a failing wheel bearing. get both sides done at the same time as the other will start to fail soon too.

It sounds like your CV joint I don;t have anything that would be spcific as far as a diagram gose for your vehicle But you could go to a ford dealer and ask for a print out from there manuals then you;ll have a specific detailed diagram CVjoints are ware parts and need to be replaced from time to timeand from what you have discribed the faster you go the more rapid the noise becomes and you would;nt get any wheel shake because the drive axle from the joint rides inside the hub on a splein and dosn;t affect the stibilty of the wheel

If the noise gets louder the faster your car goes, it might be your wheel hub bearing that's bad.
