Hi the crank shaft sensor is located just above the front pulley at the front of the engine and is held in place be a 5mm hex bolt, undo this and remove the sensor then you will need to follow the wire that dissapears under the intake manifold and unplug the multiplug, replacement is the reverse, regards mark

Check the ignition switch please. Had that on a 93 Ford that it was bad and the coil wasnt getting any electricity while the switch was in "start" position.

yes it would due to timing if the sensors are bad the engine want start due to timing

any fault codes stored for the security system?is it an oval key or kinda square?the sqaurish looking one would have a transmitter rot the anti theft system and cause the incident you describe if there is a malfunction.observe the security lamp on dash while trying to start engine.if it stays on solid this is most likeky the area of your problem.
Car not starting or turning over indicates towards multiple possibilities.
It can be issue with battery or weak battery. But if battery checks out ok, then
it can be starter issue or faulty alternator or problem with low fuel pressure
or no spark at spark plugs due to dirty spark plugs or faulty
