SOURCE: Vehicle was involved in a front end impact - Now vehicle won't start - Right after the accident tryed to start the vehicle and it wouldn't crank.

Very simple, Ford's use inertia switches. They shut the fuel off when you are in an accident. Just call ford and ask for the location of the inertia switch on your vehicle. You just push it in to reset it.

Good luck

SOURCE: P0340 camshaft position sensor

If this sensor has a problem or is not connected it can cause failure to start. Maybe the sensor was damaged during the accident. Have it checked. If that seems fine, then u then might have to look at your camshaft, be sure its still ok and set right.

SOURCE: Bought 2012 Fiat 500 Pop that has front end damage. Key stuck.

To remove the key, you take off the steering wheel covers. Underneath, there is a red tab to push in. Push in the red tab and remove key. Fuel cut off is your next problem. You use your directionals to reset the airbag module to turn on fuel. The procedure is listed in the owners manual under " in case of accident"

Replaced crank shaft ticking noise

There are a lot of steps involved in replacing a crank shaft where a simple mistake can cause problems. The bolts and end caps need to go back in the exact same position and direction facing the front. The crank needs to be stored upright or it can be damaged simply by its own weight while lying down. The bearings need to be the correct size and installed in the proper position lining oil holes up and greased properly. The bolts need to be torqued in the proper sequence and to the correct torque. The Crank then needs to be tapped with a hammer and torqued again.

Sounds like something was missed if your getting a bottom end engine noise now.

Cant start my 2003 ford escape after driving away from the accident where it had been flipped onto its passenger side then flipped back onto its wheels parked it and now wont start again

Ford has a inertia switch that cuts power to the fuel pump during an accident. Check your owners manual for the location of this switch.
