air transmission oil coolers lower oil temp by over 60%( more it the ambient temp is low) so yes they are the way to go
what is suggested is that you go to an accredited transmission specialist shop and get a kit made for mini cars and see how to fit it properly
They are not cheap( up to $500.00 aud ) but will ,save in transmission costs over time
remove no 1parp plug and with you finger over the hole turn until you feel pressure under your finger. Watch the timing mark on the harmonic balancer pulley and when it gets to about 10 degrees before the TDC mark then the piston is set to fire . Now position the rotor button facing no 1 plug lead in the cap and put the distributor in the hole . IT may turn the button off position so pull it back out a bit and turn the button off a bit until it lines up with no1 lead when fitted Tighten up the clamp a bit so that you can just turn the body of the distributor . fit all the leads including the coil wire and module wires. Use a timing light and adjust while the engine is idling
There isnt one it just hooks around handle and lock mechanisem but its a realy heavy cable or wire is it in its slot as if its not fitted correctley on the door handle part it will be slack there should be a small white plastic bit on the end of the outer cable part this should fit in a slot on the door handle bit its a bit like the brake set up on a peddle bike
yes the new system kits has launched with metal fittings instead of plastic.as when the heat increases the plastic starts melting but the metal does not get melt and due to this it lasts longer.but fitting metal piece is bit a garage mechanic job as its bit hart to set the metal piece and plastic piece fits quite easily.but once the metal piece is fitted then its no problem.
