The correct radio SERIAL NUMBER is required for a Ford code
It usually begins with M or V followed by SIX digits ...such as M654321 or V654321
Sometimes pressing buttons 6 & 1 together or 6 & 2 will display this number
Otherwise remove the radio from the dashboard and post the SERIAL NUMBER found on a label on the casing

whenever you disconnect the radio from power on a 1998 honda accord you must enter the radio code . sometimes the dealer sales dept writes the code in your manual, sometimes they keep it on file where the car was sold new; the owners manual will tell you how to set the code on your car, if you need the code go to your honda parts department give them a copy of your title and drivers license and they will provide you with the code. once you know its easy
