Hi,I always use a tyre repair called oko or flat-shield wich is much better than these tyre welds that just get you to a tyre shop to repair, with the oko or flat-shield once you put it in the tyre it will last the life of the tyre and if you get any more nails ext you just pull them out and keep driving.hope this was some help.

The can must be entirely emptied for one tire. This is a temporary fix which is meant only to enable the driver to get to a garage where the tire can be repaired or replaced.

My tires keep losing air pressure

Rosie, Tires loose air usually for the following reason, could have a small puncture, Tire may have deep weather/cure cracking, valve stem leaking, tire to rim seal(corroded or damaged), even big changes in temperature can change air pressure in a tire.
Best to take it into a good shop and have diagnosed and repaired.
Check the attached links, instruction and guides for more info., Good luck.

How do i fix my flat tire

bring it in to a tire shop; they'll do a more professional fix (if the damage/puncture was in the tread area & not the sidewall)

using tire plugs are temporary and if your tire is almost bald, maybe another option for you

Check the air lines for leaks especially around the right rear tire area. chances are the flat tire severed or pulled loose one of the lines from compressor

Can you put fix a flat in a nitrogen tire?

Yes, you can put fix a flat in a nitrogen tire. Just remember that fix a flat is often a temporary fix and you should get the tire properly patched or replaced. I have heard of people driving forever with fix a flat and some where they just make it to a mechanic's. Good luck! http://www.xlautony.com/products

How many cans of fix a flat can i put in one single tire?

it depends on if you want to be able to fix the tire. the compound in fix-a-flat will keep the patch from sealing inside the tire.
so instead of a $15 repair, it might be a $120 tire.

2005 Dodge neon front passenger tire keeps going flat. Have replaced the tire twice with no luck. At first it was a slow leak, but now it goes flat about every 2-3 days. What would cause this?

It's very possible the rim has a slight bend in it, causing an imperfect bead and a slow leak. Only ways to loose air in a tire are:
  1. Loose valve stem
  2. Bad bead (contact between the tire and rim)
  3. A leak in the tire itself due to a puncture

I have run into this before on vehicles and find it is leaking around the bead of tire/rim the cooler air lowrs pressure slightly and will leak around bead. this is hard to find wheel will have to be off vehicle sitting flat pour soapy water around rim/tire seal and watch for tiny bubbles might take a while lower air pressure and check again on both sides.sometimes with this concern will only leak when parked in certain position around the wheel weight clamp is a common leak at bead.

Tire pressure light comes on even when i put air in tire also check engine light comes on often!! the car dealership keep just taking it off and the light keep coming back on. what do i do?

You probably have a bad tire sensor. Have your system checked for that. A good garage should be able to do this for you. Resetting the light is only temporary.

Every other week i'm getting flat tyres very unexpectedly. The tyre pressure warning light comes on but instantly the tyre is completely flat. Apparently its due to corrosion of alloy rims, how can i get...

Hi,

A temporary workaround/remedy is to put innertube inside the tire. Even if the alloy rims could not longer provide a good air tight seal, the inner tube would still hold the air. You may need to specify the tire size and width. Additionally, you may want to ask your tireman to likewise install a buffer of some sort between the innertube and the alloy rim. This is to prevent the any sharp portion of the corroded alloy rim puncturing the inner tube. Some local tiremen use a cutoff/old inner tubre as buffer.

Hope this be of initial help/idea. Pls post back how things turned up or should you need additional information.

Good luck and kind regards. Thank you for using FixYa.
