Car died....driving on the freeway and heard loud clicking sound, pulled over turned car off....hasent started ever since... No smoke or smell from car..Battery still works.. when i go to turn on it just clicks..

Sounds like the power steering pump is locking up and the belt is slipping. Get it checked out before you drive it.

if its smoking thats a shorted system..if you feel safe with fixing it do so otherwise get rid of that deathtrap..

that is a service engine light and if you were blowing white smoke sounds like you have a head or head gasket problem as you over heated engine

your starter is shot. The click and the ting sound is your bendex not engaging properly. You can catch car on fire, or mess up your computer if you keep trying to start it. Be sure to disconnect the battery when you change it. Good luck

Check you fuel pressure regulator.Pull the vacuum hose off the regulator and if you see any fuel run out of it then the regulator is bad.

If its engine oil you probably broke a connecting rod or the crankshaft knocking a hole in the oil pan,If so the engine is no good

it seems that the engine blew. the rings, rod bearings, main bearing etc. Sorry but it sounds like that. Especially the smoking at the exhaust. take it back to the one who sold it to you.If possible.

my ram 50 starts just like any other vehicle, (no light switch pulling whatso ever), it sounds like somebody haas rewired something wrong or you have a loose connection and when you hit a large enough bump it cuts your power. Start it up and find a speed bump somewhere and drive over it enough to give your truck a jolt and see if it dies.
