What is the towing performance of a kia sportage 2ltr 4wd

Towing

Kia lists a maximum trailer towing mass (trailer plus load) of 1800 kg for the Sportage but that figure would be illegal in NSW. For light commercials (such as the Sportage) in NSW, the regulations state that the loaded trailer must not exceed 2/3s of the gross vehicle mass (GYM) of the towing vehicle. The Sportage's GVM is 1928 kg, resulting in an allowable maximum towing mass of 1292 kg. Even this figure could be beyond the Sportage's reasonable capabilities, given its sub standard handling and its overall levels of performance.

I have a 2001 kia sportage. There is oil leaking into where the spark plugs are and shorting them out. Where could the leak be coming from?

You have a broken seal that is seated around the tube where SPARK PLUGS go thru. Fixing it is easy for a novice mechanic, just remove the VALVE COVER and u will see the SEAL around the tube, clean the area around the tube so that it will be oil free, replace all 4 seals, and put in a new one w/ a light coat of silicone sealant, clean also the valve cover gasket put some sealant. Put back the cover and ur done! Hope that makes ur day! taaah!
