SOURCE: AC works, Heater not working, 2003 Hyundai Accent.

Check the coolant level, do this with a cold engine. Or if you have recently used it. let it cool down for about 25 minutes before removing the radiator cap. if it is low, refill with coolant. If it does not, check your thermostat. Or better yet replace your thermostat. Be sure to get the right one . the same degrees as your old one. Just ask the teller to give you one for your engine size and car Model. And year.See where the radiator cap is. Then drain some coolant to where it will not spill from the radiator cap. Remove the hose nearest the radiator cap and you will get to the thermostat housing. Remove the housing and note how the thermostat is placed. Take of the thermostat housing and the old thermostat. Clean the housing and around the hole where the thermostat goes of any deposits. Get some grease and cover the new gasket with grease on the housing to hold it in place. replace the New thermostat and make sure it is flush with the engine and the housing. If it is off , you could break the housing upon tightening the housing.replace the hose and refill with coolant slowly to eliminate any air spaces.. Also check the coolant reservoir and fill it to the indicator line. Restart the car and chek for any leaks. Then check the heater after the engine heats up. If that does not do the job it could be the temperature sensor or the heater core. The heater core will take more time to check and clean or replace.

SOURCE: Antifreeze for a 2003 Hyundai Accent

hi as this vehicle takes 6.5ltrs of liquid in the cooling system ( 1.6 16v based on ) as you did not give the engine size, but, 3.5ltrs of coolant is needed as it should be 50/50 depending on where you are and the temperature it has to deal with, warmer countries only need 30/70 That's 30 coolant to 70 water, but, if you are in a colder country it would be 80/20 that's 80 coolant to 20 water...and any standard coolant is ok no need for a specific one hope this helps please vote thanks

2003 Hyundai Accent 1.6 suction pipe plate O-ring size. What type.

Question edited for clarity and spelling of maker 'hyundia' to 'Hyundai'.
Question moved to model category.

The easiest way is to remove the old one and take it to a parts store or just buy a box of assorted O-rings for $10 from Canadian Tire or Home Depot.

2002 hyundai accent door handle broke and child lock is on

We, meaning my husband and me as helper) rather than breaking the interior panel, which a replacement is difficult to find, removed the broken outside door handle, and maneuvered the rod manually, simulating the movements of the door handle. The door opened and we clicked the child lock off and then replaced the exterior handle.

2003 hyundai accent back door locks are jammed

Seems to me those locks are rusted/oxidized (frozen). You'll need to replace them (if you know how).. If you don't know how, perhaps you should contact a Hyundai Technician. Anyway, they're called "Door Lock/Unlock Actuators" If you want to repair them yourself, it's really a messy task to 'un-oxidize' those linkages without breaking them... best replace them. If you want to do it yourself, Go to http://www.hmaservice.com/ and register (vehicle by VIN). Afterward, you'll have access to technical information (manuals, wiring diagrams, service bulletins, etc) about your vehicle.

try switching off the child lock. but if it doesn't work your guess might be right. usually the door handls are plastics, easily breaks when forced. just try prying of one of the edge of the door panel and try to peep through just to be sure.
