Windshield wipers and Turn Signals Do Not Work Intermittently

A year ago, my turn signals would not work when my car got too hot. When it cooled down, they would be fine. Now, the turn signals are not working anytime, along with the windshield wipers not work (as well as the washer fluid). Hazards are working. Trying to decide if it's worth getting fixed or buying a new car.

It sounds like the multifunction switch has had it. It is not real expensive but there may be under lying electrical problems

My windshield wipers will not turn off and I have no turn signals.

I think your combination switch is malfunctioning. The switches that control both the wipers and the
turn signals are built into the combination switch. And the headlight controls too on some cars.

Your car may have a switch that controls the wipers and the turn signals, but not the headlights.

But whether you have the type that controls wipers/turn signals/headlights or just turn signals/wipers Im not sure, you didnt mention the specific year and model. But you should replace the switch that controls your wipers/signals. They are expensive sometimes, especially if you have the combo switch that controls wipers, headlights and turn signals. But you can find one at a slavage yard for a lot less money than new.

But you should put the year/model of your car when you post a problem youre having. That makes it more likely that someone can help.

1988 Ford Taurus Turn Signals do not work

Yes, it certainly could be the switches in the windshield wiper stalk off of the steering column.
From day one, my (used 14K) 93 Taurus turn signals worked in some positions of the wiper speed and not in other positions of the wiper speed. Fortunately, they always work when the windshield wipers are off.
