SOURCE: 1998 Ford Mustang door hex bolt removal

No. The nut is held on the back of the hole by one of two ways. Either it was welded before the door was completely built, most newr models are, or a keeper plate holds it in place to allow for some slight adjustments and keep the nut from turning.

Good luck, Big Daddy

How to replace driver door on 2000 mustang

It should be relatively uncomplicated, the hinges bolt directly to the pillar of the car, and the wiring harness should have a disconnect under the dash. Support the door, unbolt the four to eight bolts that secure the door, unplug the harness and remove the door.

98 mustang the driver door window when all the way up doesn't close all the way when i shut my door. i can roll it down and up and it is closed then but when i open then close the door it doesn't seal.

It sounds as though it has slipped off it`s track or the track is damaged. It`s only made of plastic. It tends to dry and crack. Sounds like you need a window regulator and they can be ordered through parts stores. The door panel has to come off. Relatively easy to fix with the correct tools.

1998 mustang drivers power window is knocking as it goes up

Remove the inner door panel and check the slides inside that door that holds the window pane in place. If that isn't it, watch the window as it goes up with the panel off. See if you can see something slipping or misaligned.

Have a problem with my 1990 Mustang LX 7-up. Passenger door does not unlock. Tried the coat hanger trick but can't get the mechanism to release. Thinking about removing the drivers door panel to look...

Not very easy with the door closed, but call on all your resources, you probably could do it. Some bending maybe needed. You might even consider removing the driver's seat- that would give you lots more room-lol. The whole upper part has to lift up and over the window channel to remove. That is after you get all the screws and plastic push pins unfastened so the panel is free to pull off.

Before you do all that, try rolling the window all the way down and direct some spray down towards the lock cylinder and rod. You might loosen it up to work.

2000 ford mustang front door panel speaker removal instructions?

you will have to un screw your door lock. pop off your door handle inside bezel which will reveal a screw to take off. pop off the panel with the power window and mirror switches that will reveal another screw to take off. as soon as you do that the door will have to have all of the push clips popped out by taking either a special claw tool for it or you can use a flat head screw driver at the bottom of the door panel. as soon as you un clip all of the clips you lift up on the door panel to remove it ands that gives you access to the speaker
