SOURCE: 1999 toyota rav 4 engine oil cooler bolt torque setting
INSTALL OIL COOLER
-clean the oil cooler contact surface on the oil cooled mounting
-install a new O-ring to the oil cooler.
-temporarily install the oil cooler with the nut
-apply a light coat of engine oi on the threads and under the head of the relief vale
-install the plate washer and union bolt. torque 78Nm (800kgfcm, 58 ft lbs.)
-tighten the nut,torque 8.8Nm (90kgfcm, 78 inch lbs.)
-connect the 2 water bypass hoses to the oil cooler.

SOURCE: I am looking for the oxygen sensor in the 2003 Rav 4 toyota.
you will find the oxygen sensor on the pipe after the cataletic converter
it looks like a spark plug with a long wire on it its going to come out hard
you will need a goog 13/16 wrinch 6 sided works best make sure the battery
is unkooked in stall the new one hook up the new wire rehook the battery
and restart the computer will have allready reset it self from the battery
hu hooked that resets the computer ther new oxy.sensor will start reading
corectly and your proublam is fixed thank you bob
No, it is not difficult if you are mechanically inclinded. Things to remember is you are moving the TIMING BELT when you are doing this.. You have to pay Close Attention on how to align the CRANK and CAM. Then you have the Lead / Lag of the Belt itself and then the Tensioner and how it takes up the Slack.
If you mess up the Timing by 3 teeth and attempt to start the motor, you will bend Valves. Mark TDC and the Cam Pulley.
Recommend you change the Water Pump/Timing Belt when you do this procedure..
