You can go down to 1%, but if you want the motor to last, you need to change it every 5K.

2007 GMC YUKON took change spark plug, the one on the left by the firewall had oil on the spark plug thread. why was that? help me understand.

That could easily be melted grease from the engine compartment or spilled oil when filling your oil during changes or top off.

I use an 01 highlander for over 1000kms, i want to be sure when my engine needs a change of engine oil.

You should change your oil at least every 3000 to 4000 miles or in your case every 4828 to 6437 kilometers. If you use fully synthetic oil you can do the change every 5000 miles or 8046 kilometers.

2007 GMC Yukon using a quart of Oil every 2000 - 3000 miles

Sounds funny, I would take it to an indepened repair shop and have them check it out, we have many customer's with Yukon and have not heard of that, I have a GMC with over 315,000 miles and between oil changes, maybe a qts low, have it check else where.

Hello, I have a 2007 GMC Yukon with around 47K miles. All service has been done at a GMC dealer on schedule and a oil change was done about 1500 miles ago. My question is that this week the oil low/check...

Probably just the oil sending unit internally defective.Just have them install a pressure tester and make sure the pressure is good.I`m sure this will be the sending unit.Hope this helps.Good luck.

2008 yukon first oil change

THE OIL PAN IS GOING TO BE THE LARGEST PAN AT THE BOTTOM OF THE ENGINE. THERE WILL BE ONLY ONE PLUG ON IT. TO RESET THE OIL CHANGE REMINDER FOLLOW THESE STEPS. TURN THE KEY TO THE ON POSITION, BUT DO NOT START THE VEHICLE. WHILE THE KEY IS ON PUSH THE ACCELERATOR PEDAL ALL THE WAY TO THE FLOOR THREE TIMES. THIS WILL RESET THE OIL REMINDER.
