I went to start car and there is a red sign on dash says security blinking and the car turns over but won't start
Somebody tried to break into your car, and you wont be able to get it to turn over without reprogramming your car key, or simply be persistent, and continue trying to crank it. but for sure you will need it re programmed, beware because it is expensive.
hope this helps. by the way that system is the "Anti-Theft"
SOURCE: car won't start when security light is blinking
Vehicle anti-theft (VAT) system is not getting proper reading from the ignition switch. Your key has a resistor built into the head of the key (a silver bar on a black backing). Shine up this bar with some fine steel wool on both sides of the key. Possibly the wiring in the steering column that leads to the VAT module has gone bad or the connections in the ignition switch that mate up with the key's resistor no longer connect properly. End result: the starter and fuel injection system remain dead when all else seems normal............Security light on dash will stay on/flashing. There will be a 3 minute dead/reset period between each unsuccessful start attempt.

The factory security light will remain on - this is a standard feature indicating the car is dead.
First, unplug the hazard fuze in the engine bay (this will reset the ecu and remove the flashing)
Next, replace the battery with a new one (or one with proper charge) - keep in mind a small battery will not do anything for these cars, the engines require a lot to push them over (it isnt a honda)
*Make sure to clean the positive and negative battery cables from acid
Then just start it up :)

If you have key numbers on the door, you should enter the code, then immediately start the truck. If this does not work contact the dealer for a sequence to reset the alarm.

Does your key have a chip on it? If it does its probably the problem

Check the battery terminals real good.Make sure they are clean and tight.Check and see if any of the side terminals are leaking. As far as the blower motor. It is more than likely that the blower motor resistor is bad.It is located by the blower motor.Hope this helps.Good luck.
