SOURCE: Ford Focus Engine System Fault warning light

yes there is a know problem with the fuel system. fuel pump breaks down, empty your fuel filter into a bowl and check for metalic, if you have this in the filter your pump is F..... along with all the other common rail stuff. expensive job... error codes though, i find that hard to believe, fuel pressure faults will occur, i think you garage does not know what to do. or does not want to tell you the cost of the job and he will be in doubt himself of wether he is right..... was you engine coil light flashing at any point.!!!

SOURCE: I got audi a6 2.8 lit. The engine misfires

I have a 1999 A6 2.8, and my car was doing the same thing. However, after spending about a $1,000.00 I took it to another dealership. they replaced the fuel filter, it was dirty from putting cheap 91 gas in the car. Once it was replaced the car ran like new. I had to replace it around 80,000 miles. Hope this helps

Check engine light

Hi Amjad, It would help to know what vehicle we are talking about. Clearing a fault code on most Toyota vehicles can be carried out by pulling the ECU fuse and leaving it out for about five minutes before refitting it. I guess you know that if the Engine Check light illuminates it means that the on board diagnostics has picked up a fault which should be attended to before dealing with the light? The best way of dealing with the Engine Check Light is to take the vehicle for a diagnostic scan and find out what is wrong. Attend to the fault and cancel the light via the scanner tool. Regards John

Hi Canenni, The Engine check light has come on because it has detected a fault in the management system. The best way of overcoming the problem is to take the vehicle for a diagnostic scan. By having that carried out it will identify the area of the problem and you can then have it attended and rectified. Regards John

MY 2007 FOCUS AIRBAG LIGHT IS ON CONTINIOUS.THE FAULT CODE IS B1994..CAN YOU TELL ME WHAT THIS IS AND HOW TO RECTIFY THE PROBLEM PLEASE.THANKYOU.

DTC B1994 is for a circuit fault for the left side-mount air bag. Take your vehicle to a local auto repair shop that can repair the Supplemental Restraint System or to a Ford dealership. Diagnosing and repairing this fault takes specialized tools.

Fault code P1000 [18,2,10,0],Ford Fiesta 2005

P1000 means that you or someone has disconnected the battery, and the car has not been driven far / long enough for the computer to relearn its stratagies.
Engine light could be the fault of the speed sensor, or wiring to the sensor.
