SOURCE: how do i replace an o2 sensor in a 2005 chevy

If you did not get an o2 sensor code or you didn`t get the codes read then I would not be replacing anything. The light is on for a reason and in order to find out why you have to get the codes read.Auto Zone or most parts stores will do this for free.Save your self some money and before you buy and replace the o2 sensor make sure that is the problem. There are 2 o2 sensors on this vehicle.Hope this helps.Good luck.

SOURCE: how do I change o2 sensor on 2005 cobalt

Hi, place the Cobalt in "Park" on a level surface. Allow the Chevy to sit for 10 minutes. This will allow components to cool enough to touch but still be warm, which is ideal for replacing the oxygen sensor. Open the hood of the Cobalt and identify the oxygen sensor. Look for a white, rubber, plug-type sensor on the passenger side of the exhaust manifold; this is the oxygen sensor. Use a socket wrench paired with an oxygen sensor socket to loosen the sensor. Turn the wrench counter-clockwise until the oxygen sensor is loose. Remove the sensor from the manifold by pulling it off. The sensor will come off without much force. Insert the replacement oxygen sensor onto the manifold. Secure the sensor by pushing it into place until the sensor clicks. Close the hood of the Cobalt.
Take care

SOURCE: WORKING ON 2005 CHEVY COLORADO 3.5, SEVERAL CODES, P0030, P0036, P0135, P0141, ODD ALL O2 SENSOR CODES, ANY HING COMMON

Yes there is something in common . Check the fuse # 79 10amp in the underhood fuse box . For O2 sensor , heater power .
The PCM commands the heater ON or OFF to maintain a specific HO2S operating temperature range. The PCM monitors the voltage on the HO2S heater low control circuit for heater fault diagnosis. If the PCM detects that the HO2S heater low control circuit voltage is not within a specified range, DTC P0030 sets for HO2S 1, or DTC P0036 sets for HO2S 2.
So this is not in spec. an it set the other codes !
If the PCM detects that the heater current or the heater calculated resistance is not within an expected range, DTC P0135 sets for HO2S 1
If the PCM detects that the heater current or the heater calculated resistance is not within an expected range, DTC P0141 sets for HO2S 2.

How do you replace fuel injectors in 2005 Chevy

remove the bolts that hold the fuel rail. Lift the fuel rail, pulling the injectors out carefully. Make sure the rubber seal comes out with the injector. Remove the electrical clip for the injectors you want to change. Clip in the new injector, and replace the fuel rail and the injectors.

Temperature sensor

It will cause the fuel system to stay in open loop
& run a little rich, on a start up program

If working correctly,it will warm up & tell the ECM
so ,& the ecm then goes to closed loop, where the O2
Sensors take over the fuel injector timing or pulse width,
which can be read in a way as Short & Long Term Fuel Trim
