Why were the brake lines replaced?

Sounds like the mastercylinder may have run dry. You have to bench bleed the master and then DO NOT allow fluid to run low, while bleeding brakes...

if master cylinder runs low on fluid and air gets in, almost impossible to bleed with out releasing the lines and bleed master it self.

Check the ABS hub reluctor ring to make sure it was not damaged in any way when you put everything back together. Also check all the wires to make sure none are crimped or disconnected. Lastly check the brake master cylunder for fluid level. Sometimes after retracting the pistons forcing more fluid into the master cylinder will cause this meesage. If the fluid level is to high simply remove some.

What would cause there to be no brakes what so ever even after replacing all the broken brake lines and bleeding them all on a 2003 Hyundai elantra?

if this has anti-lock brakes it may be the HCU(hydraulic control unit) may have air in it. it may have to be activated to get all the air out.

Just replaced brake lines on 03 alero, bled brakes but still have none...why?

The vacuum booster (engine running) is telling you that you need to bleed them better.
Not bleeding them longer allows air to stay trapped in the lines and the air doesn't make much difference until the engine is providing vacuum boost to the brake system.

I have a 2000 Mercury Mountaineer. I had a leaking brake line in the front passenger side, it broke. The pedal was completely to the floor and I lost almost all of my fluid. We replaced the brake line but...

when bleeding brakes after a major failure you have to start at the longest line first and work your way back to the shortest to get results . You have 2 systems in your car that maintains brakes in the event of what has happened so you have to ensure that the master cylinder is working for both sections and not one piston only. IF you are not ok with the procedure then a mobile mechanic with experience on your vehicle will be the safest option .

You will have to take it to a Dealer or someone that has as 'special' reader to over-ride the ABS system.

Bleeding brake lines after changing lines on Escalade

start at the longest line have a friend pump the pedal and then hold it down while you open a bleed nipple on the longest line. close the nipple and repeat the process until there is no air from the nipple. close off and go to the next longest line and repeat the process eventually ending at the shortest line. Keep an eye on the reservoir level as it will run dry quickly as the air is removed.

Cant get fluid into brake lines after changing escalade brake lines

undo the lines immediately at the master cylinder and have some one work the pedal as you use your fingers as valves. This will prime the master cylinder and allow the fluid to be pumped through to the bleed nipples.

First, there is NO Pumping of the brake pedal
involved in bleeding brakes

I think your smart enough to know you
need to replace both rear brake hoses,
before you proceed with the bleeding
