SOURCE: 2004 hyundai santa fe parked it

The 04 Santa Fe came with three different engines. 4 cylinder (2.4 lit), and two different V6's (2.7 lit & 3.5 lit). The 2.4 & 2.7 use throttle cables connected directly to the throttle plate, but the 3.5 uses ETS (Electronic Throttle System) which uses two sensors (APS & TPS) and a control module (ETSCM). APS=Accelerator Position Sensor, TPS=Throttle Position Sensor, ETSCM= Electronic Throttle System Control Module. There are different diagnostic procedures for each system.

Gear lever loose & wont engage in 06 renault magane manual

Sounds to me that your cable is broke therefor not putting the car in gear. This can happen real easy. Have someone move the shifter for you and look at the side of your trans and see it the cable is moving. If not then you can do a visible inspection of it and see if it is broke.

What would make the transmission on a 1997 Nissan maxima just stop working without warning?

What is your car doing? If you can't shift into gear, it may be your shifter cable.

During the last snow storm my windshield wiper motor for my 1997 nissan maxima broke and I had a new one ordered. I went through the process, but when it came to reataching the windshied wiper transmission...

Did you try removeing the wiper arms them selves . Then reinstall them on the splines so they will be in the correct pisition at park and won't travel to far in the opperating mode . You should be able to put them at any pisition you need to as long as the motor and interinal mechizem is functioning . I hope i understood your question correctly its a little unclear to me

I have a Nissan Maxima Problem with the Nissan Maxima 1997 Maxima I have a Nissan Maxima 1997 model the tyres size are P205/65R15. My question is Would Kumho 352 with rims diameter "16 fits on them?

If your wheels are 15" (you said they are) you cannot put a 16" tire on those wheels.
If the 16" ones are on wheels you need to physically check for proper clearance and offset so that they don't interfere with suspension or body parts. If the tire height on the new tires is higher than the originals it will put additional stress on the driveline and could cause problems. (it adversely affects the mechanical advantage you get from the differential gears)

Car will start but will not move forward or backwards can u help?

Mke sure that the transmission is working. you can tell if the engine rpm changes when you put it gear (forward or reverse) if it does not then you need to check the level of the transmission fluid for an automatic or you may have clutch problems if it is a manual transmission. if you have more details on the transmission type (auto or manual) and if it is doing anything when you try to get it to move that would be helpful.

When I put my car in reverse it won't move.

If only the reverse gear is not working but all forward gears engage, then it sounds like a solenoid is malfunctioning or is plugged up with clutch dust in the fluid.

Try to have it flushed and filled to see if this rectifies the problem for about $100. If it doesn't though a rebuild or replacement is indicated for the transmission.

Good luck on this repair.
