you will have to drop the fuel tank ,remove the straps while supporting tank,remove fuel lines and vent lines,lower to ground ,remove ring that holts pump ***. in tank.Be certain to change filter and strainer
There could be several but It should have 100,000 mile warrenty on the drive train so take it to the dealer Your truck is notthe first one I have seen on here with this problem and always assumed it was a transmisson problem. I ned to know how they know it's not the transmisson? did they remove the shift lingange offf the transmisson and see if it would shift thru the gears ? Also Ford has it's powertrain control module mouned in the transmisson so this does not seem right to me, ask them if they took the linkage off and tested the control module and get back to me.
