SOURCE: electric fans run all the time

The radiator and A/C condenser fans are triggered by high coolant temperature or when the A/C is turned on. Check to see if you have a relay sticking closed. The (ECT) engine coolant temp. sensor could also be defective telling the computer that he engine is too hot all the time. If you can locate the relay it's much like the others and you can swap it with a good one for a simple function check.

SOURCE: Why does the fan keep running on 2005 jetta after turning off

You are talking about the thermo electric cooling fan, its operation is independent of the car's electical system. It is switched on and off by the engine temperature. When you park, the engine heat soaks upward to heat the thermostat turning the fan on. It will run until the engine cools down and the thermostat switches it off. Quite normal operation.

SOURCE: my volvo s40 t5 2005 is suddenly losing power as

if computers arent picking anything up its not an electrical fault, sounds like your surging because of bad fuel or blocked injectors, run some fuel cleaner through the car and see if that makes a difference. fuel filters may need to be changed but try the cleaner first.

Check engine light (emission system service required) Help?!?!

There may be problem with the mass air flow sensor (very common with Volvo). This causes the fuel system to malfunction.

You may have noticed increased fuel consumption, loss of power and general 'lazyness'.

Better to take it to authorized Volvo service for a checkup/fix.

My 2002 Volvo S80 is running very rough and a light is on that says, "Engine System Service Required". Can someone help?

Hello. I recommend that you take your vehicle to an autozone, or other autoparts store, or a volvo dealership and get it scanned. That is the only way to pinpoint the issues that are generating the engine system service required message. I would do this ASAP so that you do not find yourself stranded somewhere. good luck with it. regards, Joe

My 1998 Volvo does the same sometimes. Better petrol helps for me, these engines like the higher octane petrol. My car does not like the BP petrol at all for example.
