Location of tcm on 05 sedona - 2005 Kia Sedona

From what I gather from this video, it is a combined module ECM/TCM sharing the same box ECM on left and TCM on the right. There is a diagram showing it as well.

Usually inside the transmission however first you should check all speed sensor connections and all external wiring to make sure that is not the problem before having the transmission removed for overhaul.

The way to go is to replace the both solenoids . People who suggest a new transmission are people to steer clear from. Find your self an accredited auto transmission shop. Have him check out the TCM first and then the solenoids and you should be fixed up.

Our 2002 kia sedona mini van does the same thing when were drive and they told us it is the transmission control module tcm for short

raqhu kashya, A PCM, Power Control Module is the same thing as the ECM Electronic Control Module. This controls the engine management functions. The TCM, Transmission Control Module controls the functions of the transmission. The two modules do communicate with each other for the proper running of your vehicle. If your PCM is faulty then you will have to have it replaced. Good luck with this.

It is below the power steering pump pulley, there is a nut in the middle of the pulley that you loosen and then loosen the tensioner bolt to move the pulley away from the belt.
