Where is the fuel pump on a 1993 olds cutless ciera located

i worked for olds when that car was new. had alot of those motors go bad. you need to remove the p/s pump to do it by yourself-BUT you can remove the engine struts(mounts) and have a buddy(you trust) start the car and out it into reverse, now have him give it some gas so the engine rocks forward so you can remove/replace the motor/fan assy. - like that?

this will give you pictures and everysingle thing to FIXYA so please leave blue and give me a mail if you need more help, make sure you get a new gasket if it doesnt come with it though it should, and use alittle rtv if it want stay stuck and gives ya trouble. good luck

Thermostat

1. Some models require you to remove the air cleaner assembly from the throttle body.
2. Some models with cruise control have a vacuum modulator attached to the thermostat housing with a bracket. It your vehicle is equipped as such, remove the bracket from the housing.
3. On the 4-cylinder engines, unbolt the water outlet from the thermostat housing, remove the outlet from the housing and lift the thermostat out of the housing. On all other models, unbolt the water outlet from the intake manifold, remove the outlet and lift the thermostat out of the manifold.

If not in fuse panel, take ash tray out, unscrew ash tray assembly and pull out. The flasher is on the right side of the ash tray right up front.

The fuel pump is located on top and inside the fuel tank. That fuel tank must be removed in order to access the pump.
