Had throttle body replaced about a year ago but car is not acting the same now. Did have wrench dash light then too.
Try changing the inline fuel filter if you have not done so in a long time. Check fuel pump pressure, there should be a place under the hood on gas line where you can attach a proper gauge. If you do not have one, most autoparts sellers loan tools, or check it for free. The pump may be bad or the strainer on pump plugged.

yes, this is the case of a failed throttle body, in which case it needs replaced, the car is getting too much fuel causing the high idle. this needs replaced asap. you could proably find a small independant honda shop that could do the work for less.

Is the vehicle a four cylinder or V6, either way if what they stated to you is indeed the only problem, there are a few Mcgyver options open to you for far less than what they quoted. The lever itself is only a metal arm with a protruding ball type fitting for the cable. The leftmost cable is for the cruise control. I take it the bushing on the cable is worn or the rod itself has the lip damaged. Either way from in the hood snap the accelerator linkage a couple of times and watch how the cable comes off. A small tie strap between the cable and the end of the rod will probably solve your woes
Testimonial: "Thank you! I will check it out. They say the control arm has a "flat spot" causing the cable to slip off, thus no cruise control.?.?. "
