SOURCE: there are 4 pins on my maruti wiper motor. how do

one is a ground and the other 3 are speeds. all you need to do is put a 50 watt bulb in series with the 12 volt line,so that if you short to ground, all it does is light the bulb, not burn wiring etc.a car battery can put out a couple hundred amps or more.a 50 watt bulb limits the current to 5 amps, and it is enough to run the wiper motor...cheers

My screen waser moter not working

First, check the availability of water in the wiper tank. If its OK then check the condition of the rubber tube. Then replace the motor if needed.

I have Audi A4 2002. Windshield wipers dont work. They ''twitch'' when you turn them on but only go up a little. What would cause this?

I had a similar problem only recently. What happened was that some urchins got on top of my Gypsy MUV and started playing with the wiper blades. The wiper arm below the top plate came off the ball and socket joint and got stuck. I ran the wiper motor and after sometime found heat and smoke from where the motor is. Found it burnt. Had to change it. So. it could be a similar story with your wiper motor too. You are lucky that it is still working. The ball and socket joint has to be refit to ensure that the motion goes to the wiper arm. Do that please.
