SOURCE: HOW TO INSTALL AMP INTO A FACTORY RADIO IN DODGE DURANGO 2002

You can buy adaptor plugs that allow a simple hook up at most car stereo places.  However, when you increase the power going to the speakers you also have to replace the speakers to handle the higher power or you'll toast them.

SOURCE: Remove radio

Replace the CD player. To pull the plastic baffle off the dashboard: Adjust the heating vents so they point downwards. Grab the plastic bar between the heating vents and the stereo. Pull. Remove the screws from the front of the mounting brackets. Pull out the crappy stereo. Unplug the antenna and the wiring harnesses. Transfer the mounting brackets to your new stereo. Cut off the big wiring harness (unless you're lucky enough to have a replacement stereo that accepts the same kind). Connect the wires to the wires on your new stereo's harness. SOURCE: radio, clock and lighter quit working

This is the interior fuse. The fusebox is on the left side under the dash, in front of the door. The fusebox door has a diagram identifying the fuses. Replacement fuses are available from any discount store or auto parts store. Use the correct amperage fuse.

Need wire diagram for 2001 toyota tacoma for installing JVC kw-nt3hdt stereo or any advice

Hi, here are your factory wire colors/functions. Aftermarket stereos have a common set of colors, which should be in your installation diagram. The process is simplified if you purchase a wiring adapter for your vehicle. These are available for under $10 at most WALMARTs and auto parts stores or about any place that sells car stereos. In either case, I recommend you solder the connections or at least use crimp terminals. If you have any more questions, please let me know--I've done a lot of stereo installations.

The radio and the clock from tacoma 2002 did not

On most vehicle the fuse for the clock will be the same as the interior dome light. As for the radio should be a 10 amp fuse (red). Usually found on the interior fuse panel for both.
