Toyota Highlander with loud humming noise

The car makes a loud humming noise from front of car. It sounds kind of like an airplane humming. The sound comes and goes and I didn't notice that it became any worse with turning, however I only first heard the sound this morning. I just had the tires rotated 2 weeks ago and took a 1500 mile trip last week. Is it a wheel bearing or could there be other issues. Thanks!

2002 Hylander 4cyl.
all power windows work from the driver's arm rest control however,
all of the other arm rest power window controls do not work separately
on their own.

2006 Toyota Hybrid Highlander, Everything sounding and driving fine until pulled up to a drive thru line with foot still on brake, car seemed to start "missing" (old school) running rough, then a loud

this fan noise may be the coolant fan doing the job of cooling the radiator when there is no air flow through the radiator as in standing in a line or at lights. IN a drive through line you would have the window down and so the noise came to your attention when the fan cut in. However have it checked out by an accredited repair shop to put your mind at rest.

When I pass 25 - 30 mph my car suddenly sounds like an airplane. It makes no sound when at a stop, only when in motion going past 30. at times it feels like it may be vibrating.

Hi, sounds like a bad wheel bearing, possible tire noise, if you can identify or narrow down which end of the car (front or rear) its coming from you can rotate your tires(front to back) and test drive and see if the sound moves to opposite end now. If not you can use a stethoscope or long screw drivers and spin each wheel by hand (vehicle not running!) and listen for a humming grinding sound while tires are off ground via a lift or jack.

You probally have a bad front wheel bearing , when the noise changes when you move the wheel is typical of a bad bearing.this should be covered under your powertrain warr.

Body Sound..

What kind of noise? Humming? Screeching? Can you tell if it's coming from front? Left? Right? Does it get louder the faster it goes? Higher pitch?
