My engine in my 2003 nissan sentra shut down while driving home.When i try starting the car it will catch but wont turn on and the brake light and oil light are stuck on.

check the engine oil.
if there was no oil left in the engine then good chance of engine seizing.
do not carry on starting the engine as you will bend the valves.

You're alternator has gone bad and the vehicle was running on battery power. The "clicking" sound is your now dead battery that does not have enough power to turn over the starter. You might also want to check your power steering pump for leak. This is a know problem with early LS400s and will most likey be the cause of the alternator failure. I just dropped $1050.00 to fix the very same promblems you have.

is it a manual or automatic?if it's manual check clutch.if it is automatic check transmission fluid.

No it's not you are having a massive failure or a bad battery or a broken alternator belt look to see if you have any belts missing then pull the battery out have it charred and tested at shucks AutoZone or first interstate or sear and see if the battery is ok, if it is then drive it into the same places and have them do a charging system check, it's free except at sears.

GET YOUR BATTERY LOAD TESTED ALONG WITH YOUR ALTERNATOR TESTED FOR OHMS VALUES AT THE REGULATOR. ALSO MEASURE THE VOLTAGE WITH ALL LIGHTS, AC, RADIO ON. SHOULD BE THE SAME AS BATTERY OUTPUT.

2010 Nissan sentra trunk won't close - like the latch isn't hitting hook.

It is common if you have loaded anything heavy into or out of the trunk, it is easy to catch on the latch and it bends quite easily. Try covering the catch or latch with a grease like white lithium or vaseline and shutting the trunk lid down lightly and see if you can see the imprint of where it is striking, then bend accordingly. Or you can climb into the trunk with a flashlight and shut it down and see if you can see which way it needs to be bent to line back up.

Use a bottle of yellow HEET dry gas to remove any moisture problem in the fuel.

Clean / replace air filter.
Check ATF at level ground. Top off ATF to MAX level.

I know this sounds funny but it sounds like you ran out of gas. How many miles have you drivin since you filled it up? The gas gauge might not be working right.

2003 Cuts off when hot, will not start untill cool

My 2003 nissan sentra would get hot and stall out even in middle of highway doing 70 mph. The guages would go up and down. Would not start up all the time after stalling. had to cool down first. Nissan said it was head gasket, and wanted to charge 1000.00 for the job. I took to local dealer who charged me 550.00. Works fine ever since. Nissan dealer said they do like 3 head gaskets a week on the sentras. They have crappy ones in original parts. They have not recalled though.

Car wont start just keeps trying to turn over

car is going into limp mode or you have a issue with the stock sercurity system. You will need a consult II to find out why the ses light is comming on. There is also a manual procedure but you have to count the light blinking in a pattern. its easier to go to auto zone and have them check the code.

try placing car in nuetral and then try starting or push shifter forward while starting! this is a common problem for nissan also make sure your foot is on the brake when starting. for someof them this is a safety feature

Car wont start

when you press the brake pedal the brake master cylinder vacuum booster takes vacuum away from the engine and that slows the idle speed just enough to trigger the low pressure oil light. Pull the oil pressure sending unit out and hook up an oil pressure test gage, if the pressure is above 15 PSI hot engine idle in drive replace the oil pressure sending unit.
