I have a honda civic 1.4 and the SRS light is contsantly on. And the battery keeps dying have tokeep getting jump started.

Well, I know it's nothing to ignore, SRS is your
supplemental restraint system (air bags) and
Honda is really your best be to deal with it. Heard
there might a recall on some model years so check
with them.

Battery was low and put in new battery, problem SRC Light stays on how can I reset the SRC light?

I'm guessing you mean the SRS light, yes. When you have a bad battery the battery voltage can drop below 10 volts. The SRS unit detects this voltage loss and set a DTC (diagnostic trouble code) for an internal SRS unit failure. You have to erase the DTC memory. You'll need an SCS service connector tool (P/N 07PAZ-0010100) You can order one from your local honda dealer. Don't worry its not more than $10. Then you'll have to find the MES 2pin connector located in the upper right hand corner of the drivers underdash fuse box. It can be gray, green or yellow in color. 1.)Turn the ignition switch off. 2.)Unplug the MES connector from the fuse box and plug your SCS special tool into the MES connector. 3.) Turn the ignition switch on. 4.) The (red) SRS light in the dash will come on for 6 seconds and then go off. Remove the SCS tool from the MES (2P) connector within 4 sec. after the SRS light went off. 5.) The SRS light comes on again. Reconnect the SCS tool to the MES (2P) connector within 4 seconds after the SRS light came on. 6.) The SRS light goes off. Remove the SCS tool from the MES (2P) connector within 4 sec. 7.) The SRS light indicates that the memory is erased by blinking twice. 8.) Turn the ignition switch off and wait ten seconds. You may have to do this procedure a few time to get the steps correct. If this sounds to complicated I'm sure your local Honda dealer would be happy to reset the light for you for no charge. Just let them know that the battery was recently replaced and you think that the SRS light came on due to low battery voltage. -Hope this helps:)

05 toyta tocma with SRS warning light what is the

The owners handbook states that it indicates a malfunction of the air bags and advises to take the car to a dealer.
But.. sometimes a dodgy connection can cause this on a lot of cars. Sometimes the connectors located under the seat cause trouble on many. Also, the connection to the steering wheel air bag.

To make sure this isn't a one off, you can disconnect your battery for 15 minutes then reconnect. See if the fault clears.

If it doesn't then there's a fault most likely. Whilst the battery is disconnected, have a check of the seat connections if you can.

If there is an SRS fuse, you can just remove that to disable the airbag system, rather than disconnecting the battery itself. This way you don't loose your radio settings etc.

SRS light came on shortly after new battery

Here's a quick check list for most common cost of SRS / Air bag problem.

Dirty contacts on driver and passenger seat belt buckles

Dirty contacts on seat belt connectors (under seats)

Dirty contacts on driver and passenger sides weight sensors (under seat)

Seat covers

Weight on passenger seat
(Example: grocery package trigger SRS / Air Bag light on the way home.)

I recommend you to pass an vacuum over the contacts and use CRC electronic parts cleaner to rule out connectivity problem.

I DO NOT recommend disconnecting the negative battery connector to clean the code(s).

Without the code(s) the dealer will takes "BILLABLE" time to reproduce the problem.

Batteries keep dying

A short somewhere. All shorts can lead to fires, so take it to the dealer or go to a mechanic who does electrical work such as a starter shop.

1994 Oldsmobile Cutlass Ciera Battery Draining

yes. You just need an honest, qualified mechanic. I'm not saying your last mechanic was not qualified, but any mechanic should know how to search and test for an unintended drain. Sounds like that is what you have.

Go on youtube and watch videos of "unintended, or parasitic drains"-there are hundreds of them. Any mechanic with a good multi-meter should be able to find it pretty quick-within an hour or two.
I wouldn't worry about the AC-your car is too old for it-too easy to have problems with a car that old, although if you have enough money, you can do anything. Just saying it would be expensive. The window problem is not an expensive fix, probably needs a new window motor. yours probably has worn brushes. The rear defroster is easy to troubleshoot with a multi-meter. Keep at it and you will have a good car.
