Depends on the type of OEM radio you had in the system before the replacement. Your car may have an auxiliary amplifier between the radio and the speakers, and if so, you may have to bypass it. In any case, have a look at the original wiring diagram (Alldatadiy.com will probably help) and check your wiring again.

The motorolla box may be remnants of an old disk changer for the stereo. With an amp your power wire goes into the positive wire that goes to your battery, your ground wire will be connected to some bare metal close to wherever you decide to install the amp, and the blue remote wire will be connected to the remote wire that in on the wiring harness of your aftermarket radio ( I'm sure your not installing an amp with your stock radio). Good luck I hope this helps
If you go to your local audio shop, you can get a plug adapter. This will hook up to the back of the new radio, and hook to the cars factory system. You can also order the plug on line. It will save you time and hassle. Also should you ever up grade the system, you don't have to worry about splicing more wiring. hope this helps
