SOURCE: dragging right front brake
Then it it most likely something other than the caliper, like maybe the master cylinder or some brake line problem it your problem is only on one brake. I assumed that you changed the pads and rotor as well (and did both sides at the same time) Rick

change the drive belt on the car if the car has over 40,000 miles and while you have the belt off have the alternator tested as while as the battery you may just have a bad cell in the battery

When was the last time you changed plugs, wires, and cap/rotor? Also check the fuel filter.

I can only make an assumption. I think you had a temporary freeze up of your air conditioner pump. Being that you have a serpentine belt that runs everything, your engine components were interrupted by a stop of one component in the rotation. That is my guess.
If you haven't already check fuses. If fuses are good. My guess would be brake light switch. IT'S a little box at the top of the brake pedal behind the dash. Try replacing it.
Testimonial: "Thank's Cody, I lost three things in the hatch, reverse lights, top brake light only, and license plate light. The harness connection is probably corroded. Needs electric greese."
