SOURCE: 2002 Pontiac Grand Prix Thermostat

as you face the engine the thermostat bell is on the right (drivers side) Follow the radiatoe hose. Remove the two bolts and raise the bell still attatched to the hose. the thermostat is there with the rubber seal. You can gently pry the thermostat out with a screwdriver or something similar. Put in new thermostat be sure it is the same as the old one, and then replace or change the seal (be sure it is the smae size and thickness as the old one as I got the wrong size from Napa) Then replace the bell, and tighten, but not over tighten. I hope this helps!

SOURCE: LOOKING FOR A FUSE BOX DIAGRAM FOR 2004 PONTIAC GRAND PRIX GT

It's under the hood, on the driver's side, under a square, black box with a lightning symbol on it. Loosen the flower-shaped screw that holds the lid of the box down, remove the lid, flip it upside down and when you look at the inside of the lid, you'll see a map of all your car's fuses. There's also a fuse diagram on the very end of the dash, but it's accessible only when you open the driver's side door. When you're driving, that end of the dash is blocked by the closed door.

Were to find power sterling oil on grand prix 2004

assume this is the power steering, normally the reservoir for the power steering in with the pump. The pump is usually belt driven and will be near the radiator

Will the temperature sending unit make my 2000 pontiac grand prix shut off

Don't think so... I had one 2004 prix that lost it's coolant and it ran until it destroyed itself... Had another that would hit red on temp during the summer in the desert mountains. Never shut down on me though.... replaced the radiator, water pump and thermostat. My fans kick on about 3/4 of the temp gauge. Normal temp is between 1/2 & 3/4.

Where is the radiator drain plug located in a 1995 Pontiac Grand Prix?

There is no drain plug or valve on most modern radiators. You have to remove the lower radiator hose in order to drain them.

MY 2004 PONTIAC GRAND PRIX GT IS OVERHEATING I FLUSHED IT NEW COOLENT AND NEW THERMASTAT AND IS STILL OVERHEATING WHAT SHOULD I DO?

Run water over the radiator while it is still running and see if the temprature goes down. Likely your radiator is stuffed up. A rod out done by a radiator shop will save a lot of money.

Antifreeze is leaking from the front of the car i have a 2004 grand prix

first find out where exactly its leaking from.if its a hose,is it a loose clamp.some cars use a spring clamp, like a big circlip.replace them with proper hose clamps, with the knurled teeth and hex drive screw.if hose split, get new hose.only change hoses when engine cold, catch any spilt coolant, its very poisonous.if its radiator, get radiator shop to remove and repair.
