Right side turn/brake light wire is green. Running light wire is always brown on all four cornets. Left/drivers side turn/brake is always yellow. This is pretty much a universal standard.

Thank you but maybe I'm not seeing clearly but there is no yellow wire on the driver's side and on the passenger side wires there is a black/green, green/yellow , violet/green, lt blue/dk blue and a grey/black and the brown is attached to the body .

  • Rigger DeBusk Jun 26, 2017

Morning Brother Bill. Now I want you to think about what I told you. Green right, yellow left, makes no difference what the other color of the wire is, green is universal for right, yellow left. The green may be just a tracer on the black, but that's what tracer means. You can trace it to the proper point from whence it originated. Trust me Bro, that green/black is the right side turn/brake power wire and front turn signal power. Now, go fix your toy Bro.

2007 Dodge RAM My rear running lights work. Drivers rear brake light and third brake light work, but passenger rear brake light does not work. Lights are LED.

You have a short in the cross over wire. Almost all cars and trucks have one main break wire with a second wire "y" in off to the passenger side . You could just wire in a cross over and disconnect the old one.

Wiring diagram running light, need wiring diagram for 2006 dodge dakota ,right tail light is out but brakeand turn signal works

With a test light check if you have power there with lights on and with lights off, compare left side with right side as far as location in the tail lamp plug for the tail lamp park lights.Trace the harness back to the left side underneath usual corrosion in this area.

Driver window stuck on 2007 mercedes s550

This is either your switch module or the window servo. The servo\'s tend to be reliable where as the switches are an annoying re-occuring thing. The design of the switches internally is not that great and the drivers switch wears out first as it gets used most. Usually the front passenger side s never far behind. If the window was getting stuck then working or it seemed to work when you really pressed hard on the switch then that is your root cuase.

1997 Chevy Lumina, I replaced the passenger side power window motor due to the factory one failing, The person before me cut all the wires going to the motor and toggle switch in their attempts to fix /...

There is a wiring harness on hinge side of passenger door correct, take a look at the wiring colors. Hope you can read it. At the window switch, the outside wire on either side is voltage or ground depending on which direction, up or down, reversing motor. You don't need the window switch for testing, you should be able to operate from driver door master switch. If you get the wires reversed, the only thing that will happen is, up will be down and down will be up, if that happens, reverse the wires. Just my opinion.
At the window switch, top middle wire is lockout, so only the driver can operate the windows.

My tail lights on the driver side only do not work I have a 2007 Dodge Ram 1500.The lights on the passenger side work fine

The wiring of the harness is parallel to the sides. hence you will need to trace the driverr side lamp connection backwards to the joining section of the line. Please check on the ground connection of the lamp assembly, remove and clean and reset after confirming that the groundis fine but the voltage does not reach on switch on of the park lamps. If this becomes difficult to trace just take a parallel wires from the passenger side lamp to be connected to the non working side. this will work fine. Please take care to insulate.Good day

Passenger tail light inoperational. i switched the harnesses and the driver side works when i switch the female ends. found a frayed wire on the passenger side... spliced it and did not get any changes. ...

check the driver side! Usually those old subs were wired to use the driving side first and then pigtail over to the passenger side... Also, alot of the tail light problems are caused from mud & snow piling up behind your back bumper... this cause weight on the wires and SNAP! Tail lights stop working! You're just going to have to follow that wire harness back until you find it! By the way, Check your ground behind the tail light covers! They also tend to rust and loose connections! Another problems are the sockets going bad! I replaced mine about once evey 5 years... annoying, bad got to love suburbans!
