03 BMW 745i engine codes P0021,P034,P0393

SOURCE: brake warning light is on for 2002 bmw 745i.

The brake pads have sensors in them, when the pads get worn down to the sensor the light comes on letting you know its time to replace. this happens well before the pads are completely gone to reduce wear on the rotors. You should have the brakes replaced and the sensor also.

If you have a lean code on just one bank, it usually means the oxygen sensor on that side is bad. On rare occasions, it could indicate an actual one side lean condition. Only way to tell for sure is to have the oxygen sensor tested. If it is fine, you may have plugged fuel injectors on that side.

SOURCE: BMW 745i airbag light. Told to replacing airbag clockspring

Hello , check the airbag contact sensor behing the grill assembley . They are located to the left and right of the grill almost to the headlight assemblies. Check the wires to them for corrosion and damage. Check the fuse as well. There should be an air bag testing wire or fuse in the fuse panel. DO NOT UNPLUG THE AIR BAG SENSORS OR HIT THEM !!

This is a generic code which says " Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Malfunction ". This sounds like an electronic problem from where the computer gets a signal form sensors ( in this case probably a camshaft or crankshaft sensor ) to determine top dead center cylinder #1, in order for the computer to determine the correct timing. Since the computer is not sensing correct timing ( be it electronic or maybe your timing belt has skipped a tooth or more?) this would be the reason for your car not starting.
