The rear of the roof is stuck in down position and will not lift up to close. Fuse ok, reset motor. When the open switch is pressed you can hear the motor running. When the tilt is pressed nothing. I have taken the console box off. Not sure what to do next.

Is there a location on the inside of car probably above the backseat on roof to enter, most cars have a way to manually crank it down there

I had the same problem on my '96. After exhausting all avenues, forums, DYI pages, etc., I learned the motor had to be disconnected, then the moon roof clossed manually. It is not airtight, but it doesn't leak. I plan to replace the motor in the spring. Wish me luck.

When I push on the close button for the sunroof of my 2009 Toyota Camry, it closes and then pops back open if held down longer than just tapping it slowly. If not in exactly the right location, it will then not slide open and closed, thus requiring more tapping to get it in the exact location. Any suggestions??
