Sounds more like a dead battery. The one click you hear is the starter solenoid.
Turn on your headlights and try to start if your headlights go real dim your battery is dead.
If they stay bright then it could be your starter
IF BATTERY CABLES CLEAN AND TIGHT.THE PROBLEM COULD BE FAULTY STARTER SOLENOID OR STARTER.TURN OFF RADIO BEFORE REMOVING NEGATIVE BATTERY CABLE SO YOU WONT LOCK OUT RADIO.
the problem could be with your battery, starter or the starter switch please have a look on them and if still it doesnt work check your starter relay....
Go to the solonoid on the starter, Jump from large post to small post, (assuming you have a charged battery) starter will turn over motor. If it does not you have a bad starter. If it does check ign switch and wiring.
