Usually between the battery and the fuse center. Close to the battery.

the only problem that vehicle has is with cooling fans is relay/module or electrical harness to module that burns up located behind and under right front headlamp assy must remove headlamp to access relay/module that is what powers up fan motor module assy.

SOURCE: where is locate the camshaft position sensor on

The camshaft position sensor is located inside the distributor. It is a hall effect swich, simply remove the distributor cap and the rotor and you can lift it out, unplug and replace.
Have fun but beware a bad crankshaft position sensor can cause a false cam sensor code to be set sometimes.
Good luck.

SOURCE: where is the automatic shutdown relay on my 1996

It should be located under the hood on the left side of the engine as you are looking at it (on the right side technically) It is located with a Relay Box = Power Distribution Center = IPM. Take the cover off. On the back (inside) of the cover is the identification map of each Relay. Usually it will be abbreviated ASD Relay.

SOURCE: 2000 Grand Jeep Cherokee Laredo both brake lights

try replacing the sockets in the tailights/brake lights. worked for me. $10 each. i had to replace all of mine because just replacing the brake sockets didn't solve the problem on the right side. you can test it by exchanging tail light for brake light socket and if that works you know it is the socket

I own a 1989 jeep cherokee laredo. for some reason all at the same time my power antenna, door locks, fog lights, and hood light all went out at the same exact time. I took a wire and connected one end to...

Did you check for battery power at the fuses? Or did you just give them the "eyeball test"? I am willing to bet that there is no power to the following fuses" "HDLT DLY RLY", "ANT", "PWR/ACC", and "HTD WDW". If this is the case, you have a burned fuse link. It will be the green one. It is located at the starter relay.

CAUTION: Fusible links must be replaced only with fusible link wire. Splicing standard wire in place of a fusible link will create a serious fire hazzard. Replacing any circuit protection device (ie. fuse, fuse link, circuit breaker) without finding the cause of the electrical overload that destroyed the circuit protection device will only result in a repeat repair. Never replace any circuit protection device with another device that has a higher amperage rating than the original equipment circuit protection device. This can result in fire, property damage, personal injury, or death.

Starter on 92 jeep cherokee laredo is out

Put front end on jack stands. DO NOT WORK UNDER CAR WITH ONLY JACK HOLDING IT UP! Your life is worth more than a 20 buck pair of jack stands. Disconnect battery, negative (black) lead first, then positive (red) lead. From under car, locate starter motor. Carefully disconnect electrical cables from built-in solenoid and motor. Remove mounting bolts. Pay attention if lengths are different. Put'em back where they came from. Rock starter back and forth to break it loose. Reverse procedure for installing new starter. BTW - don't waste your money on a rebuilt unless you enjoy changing them every 12 to 18 months. Make sure you return the old starter for your core allowance refund.
