  • You have Electric Power Steering (EPS) not the traditional power steering pump. So there is no place to put power steering fluid in your vehicle.

  • Hope this helps..

This vehicle has Electric Assist Power Steering, so no fluid reservoir is needed.

I have a 2006 Pontiac G6 GT 3.5L V6, and I can't find where to put power steering fluid in it. Can anyone share a diagram, please?

Not all power steering systems are hydraulic. I think some G6 models have electronic power steering so no fluid is needed. Referring to the owners manual it appears that only the 3.9L uses a hydraulic system. If there is a reservoir it will either be tucked behind the alternator or mounted on that end of the engine. The top mounted reservoir filler cap is on top of the engine to the left of the oil filler cap.

Torrent steering

There are sealers that can take care of a small leak but it is a Band-Aid, not really a fix You can find those products at a car parts store. If this is at a connection point you can probably fix it yourself. Everything depends on how big and where the leak is. If it is on a metal line than replacing the line is your option.

2007 pontiac torrent problems

It can be many different parts that could cause the noise. Low on power steering fluid, worn or loose belt, defective constant velocity joint, defective wheel bearing, defective rack and pinion steering, worn steering parts (tie rod ends, ball joints, idler arm, etc.)

Power steering fluid is leaking badly. How do I locate the power steering pump and check the lines

Toyota power steering hoses fail very often, not certain what model you have, but follow the hose back from the power steering resiviour, and you will find the pump, then there is a high and low pressure line leading to the steering rack at the rear of the motor, it is usually the high pressure hose that fails

The power steering to my Pontiac G6 2006 keeps locking up when I turn sharp corners or pull in and our of parking spaces. What could be causing this?

if you have hydraulic steering, might be damaged components or low fluid if you have the dreaded electric steering, also could be a failing component Either way, have it checked immediately (despite a 2 year response).

We are trying to put steering wheel fluid in my 2005 equinox and can't find where it goes. Can you help?

05? fluid already low...follow your belt that goes around , well that turns your crank shaft air con. ect. each one of these has a pully (a wheel for the belt) one of those should be your power steering..if not some may even be on the side wall..make sure it says some thing about power steering fluid on the cap.
