Dont know about this to be truthfull but make sure you have the code then disconnect the battery ,join the leads together and leave for half hour then reconnect the battery put the code in and try again ,other than that remove the player and remove the cds manually .Now you know why i do not use the 6 player in the back of my jag as it does the same thing instead i use a cd tape head with a wire on it that i plug into the android phone that i dont use as the battery goes flat too quick but its brilliant for playing music through the cars sound system ,this i do on a long owners meeting run other than that i dont use the jag ,just a old diesel ford escort as i cannot afford the fuel for this jag .How do they afford it stateside with all these big engined pick ups and the like i just do not know .
Either have a fuel pump going bad, or a high current draw due to corrosion of the wiring harness. Professional Diagnosis is recomended to prevent hours of swearing befor you realize the kids an hear you.
Very unlikely - the ''cats'' system was normally fitted to the top range type R or V8's I have never known a 3-0 with it fitted, To double check use your vin number on a spares site or jag dealer to ask what type of replacement shock is recommended. hope this helps
they make a transmission fluid now you can use in ford , or chevy, dodge, i know ford has a lot to do with these cars, friend of mine puts dexron three in his ford truck, been doing it for years, this is a early ford truck probably in the late seventys early eightes, he has had no problem with his transmission,
my best guess on this would be that there is some undue vibration on that light assembly or some moisture getting in ... do you change both bulbs at the same time? you may want to change the other bulb at the same time as this one just to see if this solves your probelm. That should be standard practice on all cars and not just jags ... I have a passion for Jags.
