Blocked drain hose resulted in some flooding in car, checked wiring to ccm module power seem to be there and found minor corroding to ccm module. Does replacement ccm module need to be programmed before use? seems to loose further functionality when I changed the ccm module. Will review again fuses in the interim.

Hi.
There are no other ideas, symptoms are those of a defective body control module. Other faults causing this problem are quite unusual (eg. bad grounding to fuse panel).
BCM (body control module) connector is tested using an Ohm meter to ensure each contact has continuity. The BCM itself is tested using a vag Com tool, available at the dealer or at a VW authorized dealer. Before replacing BCM or looking for other faults this are the steps to take.
Before doing anything else, try also disconnecting ground battery cable for five minutes to reset ECU and BCM. Ensure that you have the stereo anti theft code if required.
If reset does not work, then the BCM will probably need replacement. Go to the nearest VW garage and have it tested.
Regards.
Ginko.
You are going to need to take a trip to the dealer, it has lost module programming.
