well the electric pump only runs key on cranking(or running)
you never once told the story why you are here, dead engine?
no symptoms told at all, engine dead or stalls or engine weak or misfires.

- engine pass compression test over 150PSI? on all/? 33yo !
- spark good on all cylinders
- now we test fuel not first. for sure relic cars like this. 300k miles on it?
the spare parts store tells me
2 Fuel Pumps may be Required - 1 Externally Mounted & 1 Mounted In Tank
learn this too, pump count. no just in the tank.

and 1990 car are hard to diagnose (no OBD2 yet)
most do have ECM and does flash codes. on demand.
