Chilton or haines manuals are very helpful.Also, local parts stores will show you how if you ask them.You need the filler hose any ways.and some refrigerant.

no smoke is normal unless from an exhaust when cold. Sounds like you have an oil leak, some how the oil is dripping onto the exhaust. No self respecting Jaguar dealer would say this is normal.
I am a novice at this so bare with me. I had the same problem as everyone else in not being able to pair my cellphone to my 2006 S Type. However I am looking into replacing the car radio with a Bluetooth receiver built in. Any thoughts?
www.aa1car.com/library/ac_recharging This is a great web site to look at for your air cond. needs. It's easier for you to see and read than to explain the in and outs. It's very easy to recharge. Just remember to use the low side port which usually the hose will fit on to only one fitting to your air cond. You do not want to hook up to the high side even if it were possible.
I have a 2006 Jaguar 2006 which has been serviced recently. The problem I have is when I get to 65 mph plus, the car starts juddering. This is not through the steering wheel and I have had the wheels balanced and aligned. Any ideas ?
