If you mean the switch that the key cylinder operates, it should be near the floor on the steering column. You just disconnect the harness and remove two screws.
You have to remove the cover around the steering wheel and push a pin to remove the key lock. There are videos on YouTube to do that.

SORRY BUT THE IGNITION MODULE HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH THIS PROBLEM.REPLACE THE SOLENOID SWITCH AND I BELIEVE YOU PROBLEM WILL BE SOLVED.

did you replace the multi function switch on the steering column?

there is a relay for the fuel pump beside the air filter on my 91 f150 4x4 4.9L i6 300 I am having having problems with fuel pump also. hope this helps!

check/replace the headlight switch also check the dimmer switch under the column it could be bad too

most likely right on top of steering colum around have way down

check your headlight relays relays can cause intermittent problems

go to youre public library they will have a book you can use
