I have a 2003 Monte Carlo SS. The dual climate control doesn't seem to work properly. With AC going, passenger side blows cold air but the drivers side blows warm air as if it is set for "vent". I replaced...

check the actuator motor and make sure it is moving the doors between the heater and the ac. it is in the center of the heater inside the car and is a small motor attached to the heater housing.

I have a 2003 Monte Carlo SS and it has climate control. The problem is the heat stays on all the time on the drivers side even when you push the heat lever all the way down to cold and have the a/c on....

Your heat cold damper is not closing. Actuator could be sticking or bad. Or some of the foam has come loose on the damper seal. Have seen leaves in the system causing obstruction. The problem is most vehicles require dash removal to fix the problem.

Hi. my 2003 monte carlo ss is blowing cold air when I put the heater on? I did notice I need a anti freeze flush. Could this be the problem?

a system flush is a good idea this time of the year.make sure the system is full.water may not be getting to the heater core.also check heater control valve if apply.

2003 monte carlo a/c works of and on,already put freon in twice and the security light omes on and also the traction active light comes on

Re the a/c. Get a can of red tek sealer. make sure the engine is cold or you won't get the connector on to the low side port to seal properly. Follow the insrtuctions that comes with the can. Just adding the refrigerant doesn't stop the leak

I have a humming noise while driving my 2003 monte carlo ss

Most likely a wheel bearing, Take it for a drive, When you hear the noise move the steering wheel slightly right then left and listen for a pitch change in the whine, What ever way the pitch changes, Say you turn left and it changes? Its the left bearing and same for the right.

Where in the heck is the radiator fuses on a 2003 chevy monte carlo SS. The passenger side fan motor has quit but is showing it has power when tested with a testing light?

if you have power there then the fuses are good or relays but if you have power then you ethier have a bad fan or ground wire also that fan should only come on when the ac is on
