What is the round valve 1 1/2dia in the supply line to the fuel rail on 2000 jag xk8

I don't believe you have one. If it isn't on the fuel rail, I did look at your fuel rail in database, didn't see schrader valve. On these vehicles you tee into the supply line to check fuel pressure. You need fuel gage and proper fittings. Don't take a fuel line loose unless your sure no pressure on the system.

the V6 has a fuel rail and all rails made
have a plug there (pipe plug) to test it or a mounted
Schrader valve (rated for fuel not tire kind at all.)
if not there we add one. on all cars. or make up and adapter
there are many ways, depends on year.
the plug on rail , the valve.
on newer cars a quick disconnect line , you add matching Tee fitting.
some have test port on the fuel filter is outside tank.

here is 95 rail with no fitting, cant find 2000
the 2002 is non return system (2000 i dont know)
summit racing sells a banjo bolt that is hollow to fit rails.
remove banjo at crossover, put in new bolt and bam, got a port.

It's in the JTIS look under fuel tank and lines # 310-01 under powertrain It's located under the car along the left rail about where the rear seat located

Id start by looking on the INTAKE manifold for 4 fuel injectors. They are connected by a commone pipe or tube called a fuel rail. Its typically located at one end or the other of this fuel rail. Hope this helps.

If you mean the fuel pressure regulator, it's on the fuel rail where the top of the fuel injectors are connected to. It's round in shape and has a small vaccum line connected to it, it's usually on the end of the fuel rail.

use the pressure test port on the top of the engine, it is on the fuel rail that supplies fuel to the injectors, looks like a tire valve, will have a plastic cap on it.

this is the most expencive and grandest in the rolls royce range coming in at £250000 thats a lot of money, so what do you get? to be honest i think this car is a rip off, ok ok you cant deny the quallity and build of this car, but isnt it the same for all rollers? sure, you get a turbocharged v8 producing 544lb ft of torque but you could get that with a ford mustang. i dont think that the interior of this car is that much better than that of a top of the range jag. in fact at nearly £?200000 less the jag xk8 4.0 soft top is a much better buy.
