The Ford Ranger 2'2 Xl 2016- 2018 models, are there oil pump problems on this models

No fuel from diesel pump when turning engine

Sometimes an air bubble - just before the injectors cause this problem. Loosen the fuel line there and crank the motor. Fuel pressure should force the air out and then fuel will squirk out. if turbo is water cooled could be internal crack
has the egr been blanked off

Try switching the fuel pump. Or before that, your fuel pressure regulator. The reason for no start could be because your flooding your engine. And the reason why is listed above. Hope this helps, James Booth

Have you checked the fuel pressure on it? Fuse? Pressure to the engine?

DESCRIPTION AND OPERATION Fuel Charging And Controls Fuel System
The fuel system used on the 7.3L direct injection (DI) turbo diesel engine is controlled by the powertrain control module (PCM) (12A650).
The fuel system components consist of:

electric inline fuel pump (9350).
high-pressure oil pump.
fuel filter (9155).
oil pressure regulator.
oil pressure sensor.
fuel pressure regulator (9C968).
high-pressure oil pump reservoir.
water in fuel switch/fuel heater thermostat.

2000 ford f250 super duty 4x4 7.3L diesel oil leak

The HPOP (high pressure oil pump) is right under the filter housing. There are 2 lines that distribute the oil to the cylinder heads. The o-rings on those fittings go out. Kit is available from Ford or International. You will need a special wrench to get to the fittings though.

Pass 100,000 miles fuel pumps do case the problem. Sometimes an air bubble - just before the injectors cause this problem. Loosen the fuel line there and crank the motor. Fuel pressure should force the air out and then fuel will squirk out. Turn key off and tighten up the line. Hope this is it.
