Hello Alexsandra,

When you first start off your engine is going from idle to requiring more fuel and air to provide the power needed to get you going.

The first place to start would be to check for a flashing instrument panel check engine light or as it is sometimes referred to a SES light (Service Engine Soon) and having your vehicles computer checked for stored fault codes.

"Could Lucas Help" ...I'm not sure what you mean...What or who is a Lucas?

97 tahoe 5.7 350 chugging, jerking, reving rpms intermittant

The first thing that needs to be done here is to have the engine control module scanned for fault codes, based on the results then move on.

Transmission sometime jerking on changing gear most of the time on 2nd + 3rd?

DO NOT have the trans flushed if it has over 75,000... VERY BAD IDEA!!!
it could possibly just be a little low on fluid, Check that. If it is'nt low/or that does'nt straighten it out. it is a more serious problem. I would try some "lucas transmission conditioner".

Cheek engine light on ,scaner say 3re plug

The fuel injector is the most likely problem here, try lucas fuel treatment to clean the injectors, use it with the least amount of fuel as possible, because of the problem you are having, you need it to be consentrated.

97 yukon 4wd. Jerks and makes noise like its

Hi amberdawn_84

My 97 yukon did the same thing (I believe). The valve body in the transmisson wears out (design problem) and causes the transmission to shift really hard. My repair was about $500 (nondealer).
LOVE MY YUKON!
